AC/DC Will Allegedly Keep Touring & Recording New Music With Axl Rose

AC/DC didn’t tour at all last year but it seems there are plans to hit the road again with Axl Rose.

Rose replaced Brian Johnson and toured with the band while also reuniting with his band Guns ‘N’ Roses and he’s reportedly due to continue with double duties.

AC/DC biographer Murray Engleheart wrote in a Facebook post that the band was planning on heading out on tour once again with Rose writing, “AC/DC will continue with Axl on vocals.”

He indicated further that it would not only include a tour but a new album too with Rose.

In early 2017, reports surfaced that Young was working on a new album with Rose while Guns ‘N’ Roses were in Australia touring. Young appeared on-stage with Rose at the Sydney leg of the tour, confirming the musical partnership is still alive and well.

Engleheart further promised, “the whole nine yards,” concluding, “what was a massive gamble by Angus turned out to be an equally enormous triumph that has set the scene for the future.”

Guns ‘N’ Roses are still touring their ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour at the moment with a European leg planned for this year. There have been reports that the band also have plans to record a new album.

AC/DC’s last album was 2014’s Rock Or Bust which featured Johnson on vocals.
