ACO Underground is an electro-acoustic collective that perform an eclectic mix of music, bridging the gap between bands and composers such as Radiohead to Bach and Vivaldi to Nirvana. Led by multitalented frontwoman Satu Vänskä, ACO Underground have swiftly earned themselves critical acclaim for their genre-fusing performances.
On Sunday, December 2, ACO Underground will be playing a special show at The Standard in Surry Hills. The gig will feature a special selection of curated guests, including guitarist Jim Moginie of Midnight Oil and bassist Brian Richie from the Violent Femmes.
Opening up the show will be Jon Frank, a renowned visual artist and surf cinematographer, who will display an audio-visual installation projected onto the walls of The Standard before the gig. Tickets for ACO Underground go on sale Wednesday, November 7 from midday. Tickets cost $35 plus booking fee and can be purchased from www.aco.com.au/underground or www.moshtix.com.au.
