Adelaide’s Lowrider Announce Indefinite Hiatus, Farewell Hometown Show

After a prosperous 10 years together, with four albums under their belts, over 1000 live performances and an ARIA nomination, Adelaide’s Lowrider will be performing their final show this November before an indefinite hiatus.

“We would like to thank our followers for their support, for spreading the word around the world about our music by sharing it with friends and family,” the band wrote on Facebook. “You are the ones who have made our journey possible.”

“We are grateful for the experience we have had together and are thankful that Lowrider has allowed us to achieve so many things we would have never dreamt of,” continues the post. “The love and respect for each other that this band was built on still exists to this day.”

The band also gave a special shoutout to all the artists we have toured and played with, singling out the Hilltop Hoods in particular for giving them “continual support and love over the years.”

Lowrider will be holding a massive farewell show at Adelaide’s HQ that will encompass songs from their decade together, and are inviting their fans from around Australia to their home town for the send-off.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, August 15 at 9am. See details below.
