AFI are pretty good at the whole suspense thing prior to making a major announcement, which is why it’s no surprise to learn they are putting us through it once more.
Today, the band have shared a teaser so suspenseful that it’s almost cruel. Featuring swelling chords and descending objects, it’s impossible to know what’s going on, but goddamn we’re paying attention. As well as the video, the band have wiped their Instagram clean while simultaneously blacking out their Twitter and Facebook pages.
It’s now been three years since AFI released their latest album Burials, so talk of a new offering is at an all time high among fans. Guitarist Jade Puget confirmed back in July that the band was working on new material.
