AJ Maddah Says Warped Tour Second Announcement This Week

Soundwave promoter and Australia’s most powerful music industry figure AJ Maddah has announced via Twitter that the delayed second announcement for the Australian return of the Vans Warped Tour will take place this week, with Soundwave to follow soon after.

According to Maddah, the announcement was set to take place mid-September, but was then delayed by Swedish band Millencolin, with whom Maddah was attempting to resolve a scheduling conflict. Maddah explained via Twitter that he was “Waiting on a band trying to move a Euro show.”

Responding to a fan’s question regarding the second announcement for Soundwave, Maddah announced that the second announcement for Warped Tour Australia would take place this week, stating “First Warped 2nd announce next week. Then SW a few weeks after that.”

Aussie post-hardcore band Hands Like Houses were recently revealed to be on the upcoming second lineup announcement. Music Feeds have speculated on the likelihood of Sparks The Rescue , The Decline, Reel Big Fish, and We The Kings joining the roster.
