Alice In Chains Drops First Song In Five Years ‘The One You Know’

Alice In Chains have released their first new song in five years off a forthcoming new album.

‘The One You Know’ is the first new cut we’ve heard from them since 2013’s The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.

The band is yet to announce their sixth album just yet but they have called ‘The One You Know’, “the first song from our forthcoming album,” letting fans know that it’s coming.

Earlier this year Jerry Cantrell called the new album, “a fucking strong record.”

“It’s a record we haven’t done yet, I can tell you that,” he continued.

“But it’s also a record that has all the elements of anything you would expect from us. It’s got our fingerprint. And we’re really proud of the material that we wrote and the performances we captured. There’s some really heavy shit, some really ugly stuff, some real beautiful stuff, some weirdo trippy shit… it’s good!”

According to the same interview, they plan to release the record in the US summer (Australia’s winter) and also have an Australian tour on the horizon.

Until then, check out the new song below.
