Alicia Keys has been announced as one of the performers for the 2013 ARIA Awards, joining a lineup that already boasts the likes of Flume, Tame Impala, and Birds Of Tokyo. Keys will be in the country as part of her co-headline tour with John Legend.
“I’m so excited to be performing at this year’s ARIA Awards in the beautiful city of Sydney,” said Keys, as reported by Pedestrian.tv. The R&B star, who recently tweeted her love for Aussie EDM duo Flight Facilities, continued:
“It’s been a little while since I’ve been in Australia and I’m ecstatic to be back!! Being on tour is an incredible journey and I’m so honored that I get to share it with my family all over the world. No better way to set off the last leg of my worldwide tour in Australia than on the ARIA Awards stage!!”
Other acts slated to perform include Vance Joy, Bliss N Eso, Jessica Mauboy, Samantha Jade, Sheppard, The Potbelleez, Stafford Brothers and Alison Wonderland, with the ceremony taking place Sunday, 1st December at the Star Centre in Sydney.
