Written by Toby Smith on October 28, 2009

Brisbane Troubadour Andrew Morris has been busy of late with his other project The Wilson Pickers, touring nationally and picking up an ARIA nomination for “Best Blues and Roots” Album.

Andrew also stepped onto the other side of the industry recently curating a bunch of shows for the Brisbane writer’s festival.

In November he will head south solo, with a brief stop in Sydney for one show, before heading to Melbourne to settle in for a month of Sunday’s at his The Retreat Hotel.

Joined by a bunch of well known and much loved local Melbourne artists including Dave Larkin (Dallas Crane), his Pickers band mate Sime Nugent, song bird Kim Dellavedova, and two of the Downhills Home crew.
