Angus & Julia Stone have announced a second and final performance for the Sydney Opera House to take place on Monday, 15th September. Following an overwhelming demand after tickets for the pair’s long-awaited national tour went on sale this morning, a second show was quickly confirmed.
This brother-sister singing and songwriting pair will embark on their first national tour together since 2011 this September, taking chart-topping fan favourites like Big Jet Plane and cuts from their highly anticipated new album, Death Defying Acts, into theatres and concert halls around the country.
Their forthcoming third album is slated for release on Friday, 1st August and came to be after a domino effect spurred by producer Rick Rubin, who’s now taken Australia’s favourite siblings under his wing, coaxing them from successful solo careers to give fans something new to fall in love with.

After already announcing extra shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to their 2014 tour itinerary and with the news that their first Perth show has already sold out, Angus & Julia Stone are throwing in an extra performance at Perth’s Concert Hall this September.
The tour this September will be the first time audiences will hear the siblings perform new music from their self-titled third album, produced by the legendary Rick Rubin, the man responsible for the duo’s surprising reunion. The album is set to drop on 1st August.
Angus & Julia Stone’s 2014 Australian tour will begin in Adelaide on Friday, 12th September, and finish up in Melbourne on Friday, 26th September. The run of dates now includes an extra
show at Perth’s Concert Hall on Wednesday, 24th September.
Joining them on the tour across some of the nation’s most iconic venues – including Sydney’s Opera House and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre will be Brisbane singer-songwriter Vancouver Sleep Clinic. Angus & Julia Stone will also perform at Splendour in the Grass this weekend.

Grouplove: We just saw these guys a couple months back at Big Day Out and they provided us with one of the highlights of the day. This California group have the cardio of MMA fighters and use it to create a stage show that is bouncy, colourful, and filled with wall-to-wall sing-alongs. Plus, Splendour was the first festival the band ever played, so we're hoping they'll do something special to mark their return. -
