Asking Alexandria Lock In Release Date For New Album ‘From Death To Destiny’

Asking Alexandria have now confirmed the release date for their third full-length album, which will hit the streets internationally Tuesday, 6th August. From Death To Destiny sees the UK metalcore giants approach their sound with a more radio-friendly feel, but promises plenty more break-down goodness.

The band teamed up with the highly coveted producer Joey Sturgis who has previously worked with bands such as The Devil Wears Prada and Emmure, which should increase the breakdown count per song even further. Luckily for fans the first single, The Death Of Me, is already available on iTunes.

In an interview with Ben Bruce, the guitarist explained that of the 13-15 tracks on the record, 6 could find traction in the mainstream, with the remaining tracks bringing the band’s “usual balls-to-the-wall kind of stuff.” The band has pulled out all of the stops for this record, tracking actual strings and choir parts, rather than producing them synthetically as they did with the previous album Reckless & Relentless.

Stay tuned, news is sure to come through on an Australian release date soon.
