Astral People Announce WITNESS 2014 Debut

Written by Greg Moskovitch on December 30, 2013

Following a successful year, in which The Factory Theatre saw the return of OutsideIn and the likes of Shigeto, Snakehips, and Giraffage all embarked on tours, the good folks at Astral People have announced big plans for the start of 2014, launching a tri-annual showcase dubbed WITNESS.

As inthemix reports, WITNESS will showcase the best up-and-coming Australian talent, as well as established scene stars and some hot international names to round out the roster. As Astral People have announced:

“Exploring our passion for left-field local and international club music, WITNESS will showcase not only home-grown rising stars…but also international artists from around the world that are fast earning their stripes in their hometowns and are now seeking to take their talents abroad.”

The inaugural event, WITNESS//01, will kick off at The Factory Theatre in Sydney on 12th January 2014, with a 13-act lineup set to perform over two stages, including the UK’s own Paleman and locals Roland Tings, Oscar Key Sung, Simon Caldwell, Andras Fox, Andy Webb, and more.
