Aussie Band Launch Their Own Charity Beer To Help Struggling Musicians

Brisbane rockers The Dollar Bill Murrays are launching their own beer on a national scale to support an Aussie music industry charity.

The band are teaming with All Inn Brewing Co. for the beer, excellently titled ‘Bill F. Murray Malt Liquor’ (the F stands for ‘fucking’ apparently), with all proceeds from the beer’s launch show (which is tonight!) going to Support Act, a charity which helps musicians and artists going through tough times with mental health, illness or other hardships. The beer will then go on sale around the country.

“The team at All Inn have been making great brews for years, so when they reached out to see if we were keen to guest brew a beer with them we jumped at the chance,” the band say about the beer.

“Through their generosity, we feel privileged to be able to give back to the local and national music community we’re so proud to be a part of!”

The Dollar Bill Murrays were pumped to help out Support Act as say they’ve “all personally had friends go through some rough patches”.

“Being able to do this through a tasty beer is the… well, froth on top!”

The beer will be launched in Brisbane this Thursday, 14th December with a free party at local bar The End. The boys will play a set, supported by Soda Jerks.

The beer will be available for purchase nationwide next month, with a portion of proceeds also going to Support Act.
