Aussie Metal Band Unveil Their Own Line Of Brutal Coffee Keep-Cups

“Coffee is metal, destroying the planet isn’t,” say Melbourne metal outfit Hollow World, who have just become possibly the first metal band in the world to release their own brutally sustainable coffee keep-cups.

To help fight the scourge that is non-recyclable takeaway coffee cups, the band are selling their own reusable $15 keep-cups, which are as dark as the coffee they contain and as black as the souls of their coffee-drinking owners.

“It’s estimated that as many as three billion coffee cups are sold each year in Australia,” says the band’s guitarist, Theo Goslett.

“And most of these aren’t recycled — they’re piling up in landfill and escaping into our rivers, parks and marine systems.

“If you use this cup for as little as 10 coffees then you’ve already saved more plastic from going to landfill than it took to make the cup.”

Hollow World’s keep-cups have a heat resistant silicon band around the middle, and a secure screw-on lid. They’re BPA-free, dishwasher safe, and are branded with the name of their album Exanimate, which explores themes like humankind’s impact on the Earth.
