Australia’s “Folk Punk Orgy” Festival HOBOFOPO Reveals Full 2017 Lineup

Australia’s self-described “folk punk orgy” festival, HOBOFOPO (Hobart’s Original Folk Punk Orgy), has revealed the full lineup for its second iteration, which is set to take place in and around Hobart this October.

Joining previously announced acts like US scuzz punks AJJ (formerly Andrew Jackson Jihad) and former Sydney City Trash member Paddy McHugh are the likes of Clowns’ Hanny J, Cherrywood’s Joshua Seymour, The Lawless Quartet and Zena Mohamad.

In total, there are now over 30 acts spread over eight gigs at seven different venues, all over four days.

Run by Folk ‘Til Ya Punk Records, HOBOFOPO made its debut in November last year with sets by the likes of The Go Set and Handsome Young Strangers.
