Azealia Banks continues to further the fact that she’s less of a musician and more of a walking headline, this time making news for being arrested for biting a female bouncers’ breast. Like… you just can’t make this shit up anymore.
The controversial rapper, who I’m sure must have released a song once (anybody???), was attempting to enter a nightclub in the meatpacking district of New York City, when she discovered she wasn’t on the doorlist and all hell let loose in true Azealia fashion.
TMZ reports that Banks, who recently called her visit to Australia for Splendour in the Grass “a waste of my fucking time”, began releasing a tirade of racial slurs at the two bouncers (one male and one female) who refused her entry to the downstairs portion of Up&Down nightclub, as well as spitting in their faces and gently reminding them that she was appearing in Rihanna’s upcoming new album.
After leaving to get a police officer (because reasons?) Azealia then allegedly attempted to punch the female bouncer in the face before clamping down her chompers on the bouncer’s boob in the ensuing wrestle.
The 24-year-old was taken to the copshop on charges of misdemeanour third degree assault. As an A class misdemeanour, third degree assault is punishable by up to a year and jail and three years probation.
So hopefully we won’t be seeing her back in Oz anytime soon. Bye Azealia xoxo
