Strong Instagram game and Beck may not be two things you’d put together, oh fair reader BUT…shows what you know. Overnight, the music icon took to the social media platform to begin teasing his new song Wow, offering fans a tasty slice of the impending jam.
Beck makes solid use of his oft-neglected Gram account, sharing an array of posts all alluding to Wow being officially released Thursday, 2nd June at midday which is 2am our Friday so time to get those alarm clocks set. The track will be the first original offering from Beck since last year’s single Dreaming.
As well as some killer retro still shows, the spray of posts also contains some short videos with snippets of the danceable track for all to sample.
He teamed up with the likes of Instagrammers Coral Morphologic and graphic designer Andrew Kuttler for the announcement.
It’s not yet known if this will be featured on a brand new album or if Beck’s just throwing us something to keep us busy. But either way we’ll take it.
