Ben Harper Announces Intimate Canberra Performance

Written by Mike Hohnen on August 3, 2012

In the wake of his recently announced Australian tour dates, Live Nation has proudly declared that Canberra Theatre will be hosting an acoustic evening with the man himself. The date has been added to an already full touring schedule of Acoustic Evenings throughout the East Coast this coming November.

Tickets for the personal events will be on sale from Friday, August 10. Organisers were taken aback by the sheer support shown by Ben Harper fans throughout our little country, with demand skyrocketing for the intimate event to come through their town.

While Harper is a veteran of our stages, this will be the first time Aussie audiences will be privy to a two-hour set from the musician who will be performing as a one-man wonder. The fact that he’s been making music for more than 18 years now proves it will be a great night, with personal stories intertwined between the music.
