Big Day Out organisers have set have an official ‘BUY, SELL & SWAP BDO TIX’ Facebook event in an aim to target Scalpers. The event was set up today and also aims to stop punters trading tickets on the official BDO Facebook page, the info on the page reads:
Please keep buying, selling and swapping of BDO tickets within this page so we can monitor for scalping etc. Any ticket buy/sells on the main page will be deleted.

Organisers of the festival also announced they would be partnering with the Lollapalooza Promoters in a bit for a better competitive edge. Big Day Out have had a tough year after a declining Australian festival market, line-up problems, partner Vivian Lee’s quitting, and pressure from punters almost caused the festival to be cancelled.
