UPDATE 07/02/17: The 2017 Big Pineapple Music Festival lineup has now been unveiled.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Banana-benders behind the Sunshine Coast’s premium live music event Big Pineapple Music Festival have issued a save the date for the next instalment of their event, locking in what is sure to be another sun-drenched fest going down in May next year.
We’re still a while away from the lineup announcement, however if we look back at the event that went down earlier this year which featured RÜFÜS, Hermitude, You Am I and The Smith Street Band just to name a few, we can expect a 2017 roster no doubt as big as the goddamn Pineapple its self.
The aforementioned event hit sold-out status well in advance. For a festival only in its fifth year, that’s impressive. That is to say, Big Pineapple Festival was never really small. The inaugural event snagged sets form Violent Soho, British India and Grinspoon.
So, get out your calendars and block out the below date; you now have plans.
