BIGSOUND 2013 Adds Billy Bragg, Regurgitator And Robert Forster To Live Program

With just a few days to go until Australia’s biggest music industry conference, BIGSOUND, officially kicks off, the addition of Billy Brag, Robert Forster and Regurgitator to the event’s live music roster has excitement levels rising to fever pitch.

Of course, those who have been paying attention will know Bragg and the ‘Gurge have already confirmed their involvement as speakers at the event, though they will now both be taking to one of the 12 stages spread across Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

Being a founding member of The Go-Betweens, one of the most seminal groups to emerge from the Brisbane music scene, the addition of Robert Forster is also caused a fuss amongst music lovers.

The three will be joining artists such as Megan Washington, Busby Marou, Calling All Cars, Stonefield and more who have already been confirmed for live performances at the event.

BIGSOUND will also be hosting industry conferences which will include talks from Amanda Palmer, Simon Raymonde, Gurrumul and John Watson, as well as a Music+Design program, which will see Nick Cave presenting.
