Billy Talent have announced some Australian tour dates for this August, possibly on the back of a new album that the band recently announced. The new album will be their follow-up to 2009’s Billy Talent III (now it’s tipped to be called Billy Talent IV), which was also the year they were last out here, making an appearance on the Soundwave 2009 lineup.
With the band back on the road again after drummer Aaron Solowoniuk underwent open heart surgery in February, they’ll be doing three dates, including trips to the Hi-Fi in Brisbane, the UNSW Roundhouse in Sydney, and Billboard in Melbourne.
The first single from the new album, Viking Death March, will drop later on today. Tickets on sale Friday, 1st June at 9am.
