Another rumour for the upcoming Vivid LIVE 2012 line-up has come to light over the weekend, with clues that Icelandic musical virtuoso Björk will be headlining the festival with an Australian tour.

Fasterlouder have pointed out that a Google AdWords campaign was discovered, with keywords pointing to the Vivid LIVE website, including “Bjork Australian tour 2012”, “Bjork Australia” and “Bjork Vivid”. These AdWords have now been removed.

Rumours of her making her way down here have been around for a while now, but this could be a good sign that it might finally be happening.

The first Vivid LIVE act announced for 2012 was Sufjan Stevens, with the full line-up to be announced on Thursday March 15th.

This year will see an end to the celebrity curator. Previous years have seen the likes of Brian Eno, Lou Reed/Laurie Anderson and Steven Pavlovic curate the festival.

This year festival Director Fergus Linehan will put the line-up together; he will be “cultivating artist-driven projects including unique collaborations, one-off projects and special events that take over all the venues and spaces of the House, including the iconic Lighting the Sails.”
