The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach‘s divorce from estranged wife Stephanie Gonis was finalised this week and as part of the settlement, Gonis apparently received Bob Dylan‘s hair.
According to TMZ, the divorce was finalised in Tennessee and as part of the settlement Gonis will receive over $5 million, the couple’s 2012 Toyota Highlander, one of the family homes and an asset only described as “Bob Dylan Hair.”
It’s unclear as to what kind of hair it is — scalp, pubic, underarm — how much of it there is or whether it is from the Bob Dylan or merely someone with the same name. Regardless, Auerbach decided that he could stand to part ways with the “asset,” which is now in the hands of his ex-wife.
Perhaps after Dylan passes, someone can use the mysterious hair to clone the folk legend.
