Blink-182 have updated their iconically nakey What’s My Age Again? music video in a new clip for their latest single, She’s Out Of Her Mind.
Thankfully, the now middle-aged trio kept their kits on this time around (nobody likes you when you’re 43 and still pulling nudie runs in public, after all), subbing out their pixelated-crotched selves for a trio of babin’ butt nekkid social media stars.
The shot-for-shot remake features Lele Pons, Hannah Stocking and Vale Genta, streaking up a storm through a very familiar neighbourhood, terrorising giant man-bananas and stopping to ogle a “sexy nurse”, who is — this time around — portrayed by comedian Adam DeVine of Pitch Perfect and Workaholics fame, rather than the iconic Enema Of The State lady.
The clip for Blink’s latest California cut also features clips of the now Tom DeLonge-less band performing on stage with their new axeman/co-vocalist Matt Skiba, and a bunch of modern updates like iPads and iPhones.
The clip is part of Spotify’s new Flash Frame series, which is set to celebrate various musicians’ careers.
According to Rolling Stone, “The show will celebrate the release of their 2016 album California and subsequent tour in support of the LP” and “be separated into four chapters and feature Q&A’s with fans, private performances and stories behind classic clips like the one recreated in their newest video”.
