Blink-182 Reveal They’re Set To Release More New Music Soon

Written by Zanda Wilson on November 11, 2016

Blink-182‘s 2016 album California was proof that although the departure of Tom Delonge was a setback, they’re not about to go down quietly, and now drummer Travis Barker has confirmed that they’ll be in the studio again soon to prepare a release of more new material.

In a new interview with Radio X, Barker says that that Blink are heading in to work on the deluxe edition of California, which will include some brand new tracks that didn’t make it onto the standard edition of the record.

“We’re actually gonna get back in the studio in a couple of weeks and work on the deluxe version of California, which will include some songs nobody’s heard yet,” Barker says.

Earlier this week, Blink-182 announced a new tour of the UK and Europe, and Barker revealed that he’d be travelling by boat to get there.

Barker hasn’t flown since he was involved in a plane crash in 2008 in which four people died, but his willingness to get over to Europe by boat leaves hope that Blink may still one day tour Australia again with Barker — something Mark Hoppus told Music Feeds in July is a real possibility.

Blink-182 were last in Australia in 2013 for Soundwave, sans-Barker. Check out their latest music video, for She’s Out Of Her Mind, below.
