Bluejuice Reveal New Single & Video ‘S.O.S’ Alongside November Tour Dates

Bluejuice are officially back in action, releasing the video clip for brand-spankin’ new single S.O.S and to celebrate they’re heading out on tour to bust douchebags and save our streets one stage at a time all over the country this November.

After last week giving us a sneak peek at their Ghostbusters-style campaign to rid the world of the dreaded douchebag, the full video for the bouncy, catchy-as-all-get-out new single now shows band members Jake, Stav and Jamie in full Douchebusters mode.

Responding to distress calls from the public, the Bluejuice boys provide a valuable public service as they stalk big-name prey – including Merrick Watts, Osher Gunsberg (nee Andrew G), Danny Clayton and triple j’s Tom and Alex – and reduce them to a spattering of douchey goo for the good of all mankind.

The single itself was recorded in east London and produced by Blue May and Alex Burnett, who last worked with Bluejuice on Act Yr Age. Even more talent can be heard on the track by way of Basement Jaxx singer Vula Malinga, plus Sam Best and Ade Omatayo who were permanent members of Amy Winehouse’s band.

In other welcome news, Bluejuice will be returning to the stage on their S.O.S Tour this November, hitting up venues in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Bunbury. Tickets go on sale this Friday, which is also the date that you can download S.O.S for yourself.

UPDATE: Bluejuice have announced that Sydney’s own SURES will be joining them in their fight against douche-ism for all of their East Coast tour dates, with Lurch & Chief, The British Blues and Rolls Bayce joining the two in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane respectively.

Riding the momentum of their sophomore EP, The Night Hero Waste Time Getting Better, and lead single Waste, young four-piece SURES have quickly built a reputation as a band with acumen and power beyond their years.
