Bluesfest 2015 Set Times Unveiled, Includes 14 New Acts

If the 2015 Byron Bay Bluesfest lineup wasn’t already big enough, it’s now even bigger. Organisers have added 14 more acts to the festival, whilst also releasing official timetables so that punters can plan out their itineraries.

With Bluesfest only six weeks away, Indigenous Australian artist Frank Yamma has been added to the lineup. His performance will mark his third Bluesfest set, and his first in four years. Yamma will be performing solo, as well as with Declan Kelly’s Diesel’n’Dub.

Other new additions to the Bluesfest 2015 lineup include American rockers Delta Rae, who will make their Bluesfest debut, the Henry Wagons-led Aussie group Wagons, hobo-pop outfit Skipping Girl Vinegar and New Zealand musician Marlon Williams. Pop reggae group SOJA have also added a third Bluesfest set on Thursday, 2nd April. View the full list of lineup additions, below.

With the tremendous number of acts playing at Bluesfest, clashes are inevitable. Thankfully, organisers have released the official set times (below) bright and early to give festival-goers plenty of time to plan.

Previously announced Bluesfest acts include Hozier, Lenny Kravitz, The Black Keys, Jurassic 5, The Gipsy Kings, Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals, Ben Howard, Alabama Shakes, Michael Franti & Spearhead and George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic.

Bluesfest 2015 — the 26th annual Bluesfest — is being held over the five-day Easter long weekend from Thursday, 2nd to Monday, 6th April, at a custom built site in Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm. For punters still looking at purchasing Bluesfest tickets, five-day tickets are now entering their final allocation and will soon be increasing in price.

UPDATE 13/03/15: Bluesfest has made its eighth lineup announcement, adding Angus & Julia Stone, Boy & Bear and Sticky Fingers to play its opening night. Jurassic 5 have also added another Bluesfest performance on the festival’s opening night. View Byron Bay Bluesfest’s updated 2015 set times and lineup, below.
