The Bluesfest 2016 Set Times Are Here

Just a handful of days after revealing its monster final lineup announcement, the freakin’ gargantuan Byron Bay Bluesfest has unveiled its official 2016 set times.

And with five stages worth of action over five jam-packed days, it’s well worth using the timetable to formulate an itinerary and make sure you don’t end up accidentally missing any of your favourite acts.

“This is what every festival attendee hangs out for – the playing schedule, we call it the form guide,” announced Bluesfest Festival Director Peter Noble. “It contains all the times and set lengths of the shows.”

And speaking of set lengths, there’s plenty of exciting news on that front, with most of the festival headliners performing full 90-minute (and some even massive 120-minute) length shows.

“At Bluesfest, artists are given the opportunity to play full performances wherever possible and you will see full two hour shows with D’Angelo (Saturday), Joe Bonamassa (Saturday), UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro & Mickey Virtue (Sunday) and Tedeschi Trucks Band (Thursday),” Noble continued.

“When the Wailers present Bob Marley’s classic album Legend on Sunday, the audience will get to see the full 100 minute performance.

“Artists such as Brian Wilson, Jason Isbell, The Word, The National, City and Colour, The Cat Empire, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Melisssa Etheridge, Jackson Browne and more will be presenting their full 90 minute concert performances. There are no cut down performances at Bluesfest.”

Bluesfest 2016 will run from Thursday 24th March – Monday 28th March at Byron Bay’s Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm.
