Boy & Bear Have Launched Their Own Beer For Charity

If you’re in a band and you haven’t created your own brand of beer yet, it’s time to get brewing. Boy & Bear have announced that they’ve joined the long list of bands that are now making their own band-branded beer.

Their super-spesh beer is a result of a collaboration with the Sydney-based Akasha Brewing Company, and is going by the name of All Australian Ale, or AAA, and will only be available at shows on the band’s upcoming national tour this November and December.

Although it may be hard to believe that there is something even more awesome than cracking that first thirst quenching, band-brewed cold one at a Boy & Bear gig, what’s even cooler is knowing that all of the beer’s proceeds will be donated to a charity called Buy a Bale, which offers support to rural Australian communities and farmers going through drought and economic hardship.

Boy & Bear are also re-releasing their album Limit Of Love, which reached number one on the ARIA charts. This new version will feature 10 new live tracks which were recorded this year in Sydney’s sold-out Hordern Pavilion show.
