Brand New Announce Headlining Tour March 2010

Written by Daniel Clarke on November 17, 2009

It is almost unimaginable that any band; having written and recorded an album like ‘God & Devil Are Raging Inside Me’; would have leftover supplies of creative genius. In fact, it is hardly equitable that Brand New should be so damn gifted as to come up with an even more complex masterpiece for their fourth album, Daisy.

Listening to ‘Daisy’ is like crossing a dilapidated wood and twine bridge over the most magnificent and scenic waterfall. Swinging wildly and fluctuating unexpectedly…Scary, yet so thrilling and ultimately rewarding; as they take you to the brink and then deliver you lovingly to safety, song after song.

The live setting, however, is where Brand New shine brightest. And we are thrilled to announce the band’s long waited return to Australia for a headline tour. Fans will be further rewarded by the addition of singer songwriter, troubadour, philosopher and alt rock’s most likable man, Mr. Kevin Devine.
