The Bronx Will Tour Australia This Year With “A Legendary Punk Band”

UPDATE 30/07/17:

The Bronx have announced an Australian tour, supporting US punk rockers Pennywise.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Shitchyeahhhhhhh! We’ve just received official word that The Bronx will be touring Australia in 2017! And if that wasn’t exciting enough, they’ll be coming with a “legendary punk band” in tow.

The confirmation comes courtesy of top dog heavy music promoter Chris O’Brien from Destroy All Lines, who tells Music Feeds the US hardcore champs will “here later this year for a run of shows with a legendary punk band”.

It follows The Bronx’s most recent trek down under last year supporting Violent Soho, and comes after O’Brien teased their imminent return on Twitter, hinting that a new tour would be happening “soon”.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Perth will be included on the bands’ touring itinerary, after Destroy All Lines became one of several Aussie promoters to express frustrations with the city over poor ticket sales and warn that it could soon “disappear off the touring map” altogether.

Meanwhile, The Bronx have just announced their brand new album V (due out on 22nd September) and dropped a brand new belter dubbed ‘Sore Throat’.

Looks like we won’t have to wait long to see them play it IRL!

Give ‘Sore Throat’ a spin below, as you commence predictions on the mystery identity of The Bronx’s forthcoming Aussie tour mates…
