Bruce Springsteen’s Aussie Tour Grossed $50 Million

Bruce Springsteen‘s latest Australia and New Zealand tour made a bucketload of money.

Billboard is reporting that the tour grossed a total of $50 million after he played a 14 shows over both countries.

That means he grossed an average of $3.5 million per show which is no mean feat.

The Boss played to 261,184 over the five week tour which was his first since 2013. Melbourne was his highest grossing date with the 50,000 strong crowd at AAMI Park bringing in $7.3 million.

Over the past three years he’s visited this side of the world three times, grossing a total of $102 million over those three stops.

You can only imagine how much Adele is going to rake in on her current stadium tour in the country. Over her two Sydney shows, she will have played to nearly 200,000 people without even considering the four other stops. She’s estimated to have shifted close to 600,000 tickets.
