Bullet For My Valentine Reckon You’ll “Lose Your Shit” Over Their Brutal New Track ‘Don’t Need You’

Bullet For My Valentine have returned with a pulverising new track which officially ushers in a new phase of their already mighty career.

Dubbed Don’t Need You, the metal heavyweights’ first track since signing to Search and Destroy / Spinefarm Records (Caroline Australia) is a cinematic metal epic.

“It’s heavy, it’s dark, it’s super-epic, it’s signature Bullet and I think when people hear it they’ll lose their shit,” says frontman Matt Tuck. “We love it, and I think it’s a hint of where the band is going next.”

The tune also comes packing a music video directed by Ville Jurrikkala (Nightwish, Michael Monroe), which depicts “a wedding born of deceit”.

Following the release of Don’t Need You today, Bullet have promised to get cracking on a brand new studio album and embark on a period of “extensive touring”. They may have only visited their fans down under this year, but hopefully this means we’ll be seeing BFMV heading to our shores again some time very soon.
