There’s Now A Book Full Of Naked Drawings Of Iggy Pop

Here’s a stocking filler for you – a book full of drawings of a starkers Iggy Pop.

Back in March, Iggy posed nude for 21 life drawing students who each created artworks.

All the finished works will go on display at Brooklyn Museum, as Pitchfork reports, but for those of you who can’t make it over to the US they’ve also been compiled into a book.

The artworks of Iggy will be displayed alongside other depictions of the male body to demonstrate “shifting cultural representations of masculinity across history.”

The book, titled Iggy Pop Life Class, will be released on 20th October while the exhibition will run from November until March 2017.

While many of you will no doubt struggle to get your mind out of the gutter, Iggy said after being drawn naked that, “It wasn’t about my winkie.”

“It was just a documentation of what’s left of me,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

You can check out the drawings here and you can see the cover of the book below.
