You Can Get An Uber Helicopter To Coachella If You Have Thousands At The Ready

For most Australians it would already be more than enough to pay for flights, accommodation and a festival ticket to Coachella but if you want to take it one step further, you can, and arrive at the Californian festival in a helicopter.

Coachella is the festival of the rich and famous so if you want to fake it ’til you make it for the weekend, Uber are making it possible providing a helicopter for a cool USD$4170. With a pretty weak Australian dollar right now, that’s a casual $AUD5520.

The UberCHOPPER seats six people so if you break it down it’s only like $920 each, which is just the price of a cab home from a night out really, isn’t it?

If you can afford it, you’ll be picked up in an SUV and taken to Van Nuys Airport where you’ll be greeted by an open bar. You’ll then be flown to the festival uninterrupted by any traffic. The flight time is about an hour which is half the time it takes on the road.

It’s only a one way trip and you’ll have to pay $USD400 extra to get an SUV back to Los Angeles like a commoner.

Coachella will go down over two weekends next month. Both Guns N’ Roses and LCD Soundsystem are reforming to play headline sets at the event alongside third headliner Calvin Harris.
