Cancer Bats Cancel Australian Tour But Confirm Soundwave 2013

There’s good news and band news for fans of hardcore punk band Cancer Bats. First the bad news: Cancer Bats have unfortunately had to cancel their upcoming Australian tour scheduled for next month. In an official statement (included below) Cancer Bats and Soundwave Touring apologetically announced that for an unspecified reason the tour had to be postponed.

Now the good news: Cancer Bats are now officially confirmed as part of the increasingly epic lineup for Soundwave 2013 and will be performing as part of the festival in all ‘5 state capitals’. Furthermore, any current ticket holders for the now cancelled July, 2012 tour will have those tickets honoured as entry to the Cancer Bats 3 Sidewave gigs.

Soundwave 2013 has already caused massive interest as the list of band’s rumoured to play looks more like the stuff dreams are made of as opposed to a one-day festival lineup. Music Feeds will be sure to bring you all the Soundwave lineup updates as they happen.

Cancer Bats & Soundwave Touring Official Statement

Soundwave Touring & Cancer bats are truly sad to announce the postponement of the band’s tour scheduled for early July.

The band have explained the need to postpone the dates and we love them for their honesty and their love for the fans as they have asked to ensure we reward their fans for their patience and understanding.

In good news we can confirm that the band will instead return for Soundwave 2013 which means they will now be performing in all 5 state capitals.

Furthermore, the fans who hold tickets for the July dates will be amply rewarded as those tickets will now be valid for the band’s 3 SideWaves in conjunction with Soundwave Festival. These shows will feature a rather gargantuan line-up, making Willie Wonka’s so called golden ticket look rather shabby!
