Chance The Rapper & Death Cab For Cutie Might Make Music Together

Written by Zanda Wilson on June 14, 2016

Chance The Rapper is having a huge 2016, with the release of his new mixtape Colouring Book followed by confirmation of his plans to play shows in Australia soon.

Now it appears that collaborating with US alternative rock outfit Death Cab For Cutie may be on the cards, after Chance responded to a tweet asking him whether there was any possibility of him working with the band with a “Big 10-4”.

Despite not being on the bill for Bonnaroo festival last weekend in Tennessee, Chance was popping up all over the place. Apart from joining J. Cole, Macklemore and Miguel on stage, he also spent some time hanging backstage with Death Cab, and also apparently requested that they add I Will Follow You Into The Dark into their set – to which they duly obliged.

Death Cab guitarist Dave Depper posted a photo to his personal account saying “Chance the Rapper: incredibly nice dude, and huge Death Cab fan. Who knew?”
