As if Chance The Rapper hadn’t given us enough incredible music in 2016, the US superstar has now gifted the world with an early Christmas present in the form of a free mixtape full of Christmas-themed choons.
The mixtape is called Merry Christmas Lil’ Mamma, and Chance has collaborated with Chicago singer-songwriter and rapper Jeremih on the record.
It’s the first longer form release we’ve heard from Chance since his incredible mixtape Colouring Book was released earlier this year.
He is clearly a lover of the holiday season, combining with Keenan Thompson on Saturday Night Live last week to perform a Christmas-themed send-off to outgoing US Prez Barack Obama called Jingle Barack.
Chance is gearing up to play a slew of Aussie festivals over New Years, including Origin NYE, Field Day and Beyond The Valley, while he’ll also play headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
