Check Out Who Flume, Montaigne, Violent Soho & More Are Voting For In Triple J’s Hottest 100

Voting officially opened today for triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown, so it’s time to get out that list you’ve been compiling over the past year and start to whittle it down before voting closes on the 23rd of January.

But there’s been so much incredible music released this year that it’s hard to know where to start, so who better to look to for inspiration than some of your favourite Aussie artists who’ve already shared their votes with triple j.

Golden boy and multiple Grammy nominee Flume has put votes forward for Diggin by local girl Ngaiire, Run by British electronic musician Tourist and new The XX track On Hold.

ARIA award winner Montaigne obviously couldn’t get enough of J Award Album Of The Year winner D.D Dumbo, voting for his track Satan, as well as Too Good by Drake and Shelter by Porter Robinson & Madeon.

Violent Soho have shared the love around to their fellow Aussie rock bands, finding room in their top 10 for tunes by Dune Rats, Luca Brasi, DZ Deatherays and The Smith Street Band – while last year’s #1 band The Rubens threw some love to Frank Ocean, Chance The Rapper and BADBADNOTGOOD among others.

You can also check out the top 10 picks from A.B. Original, Tash Sultana, Tkay Maidza, Porter Robinson, Alison Wonderland, Amity Affliction, Illy, Broods, Glass Animals and more here.

triple j‘s Hottest 100 voting closes at 9am, Monday 23rd January, and you can vote now right here.
