Year after year the team from Melbourne’s Cherry Bar host a phenomenal lineup of artists performing at the annual CherryFest and 2013 is no different. This year the event will see iconic garage rockers The Bellrays return for the second time in six months to headline a bill of more than worthy performers.
Other artists so far announced include Berlin trio Kadavar, the super-talented, recently reunited Chris Wilson’s Crown of Thorns, local outfit Hoss and more. This is just a taste of what we can expect with a crazy 14 acts set to descend upon the 2 stages located at Cherry Bar and AC/DC lane.
Early bird tickets for the event are now on sale with more releases expected in the near future, though we don’t recommend you dick around with this – a total of just 800 tickets will be sold, no more and no less.
UPDATE: The Bellrays have also announced a second show at The Espy, separate to CherryFest. Billed as Lisa and The Bellrays, the show promises to be an intimate back catalogue affair with a few covers and maybe a couple of acoustic numbers thrown in as well. Details below.
