Chiddy Bang Drop Debut Album Breakfast

Written by Michael Carr on February 22, 2012

Following on from dropping off the 2012 Groovin The Moo bill, Philiadelphia hip hop duo Chiddy Bang have just dropped their debut album Breakfast. Their sound based in bridging the gap between, for lack of a better word, alternative music and hip hop, sampling artist such as Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Yelle and more.

Blog darlings, the last month or so has seen Chiddy Bang’s popularity explode with the release of single Ray Charles, and Breakfast looks set to only further it, songs from the album featuring in EA Sports video game Madden NFL 12 and the Now That’s What I Call Music! 39 (US series) compilation series.

You can buy the album in iTunes as of last night, but here is a video for a non-album track to wet your whistle a little.
