Childish Gambino Splendour Sideshow Announced

Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino has today announced he will perform a single headlining Australian show this July, complementing his set as a part of the 2014 Splendour In The Grass lineup.

Childish Gambino will take to the stage of Big Top at Sydney’s Luna Park on Sunday July 27, announcing it is definitely one show only. Follow up to his widely acclaimed 2011 debut album CAMP, Gambino dropped his highly anticipated second studio album because the internet in December 2013 to wide acclaim.

His legendary Australian tour dates sold out in minutes in the Summer of 2013, with fans reporting the rapper’s dynamic energy blew away those fortunate enough to have scored a ticket. Tickets for the Big Top Sydney show go on sale at 10am this Monday, May 12th. Pre-sale tickets are available from midday this Friday, May 9th via Niche Productions, Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

UPDATE 21/05/14: Gambeezy has announced that his headlining performance in Sydney will be moving from the Big Top to the 5,500 capacity Hordern Pavilion. The show date will remain the same. Extra tickets will also be released on Friday, 23rd May at 9am.
