Scottish trio CHVRCHES have delivered yet another stunning single set to feature on their eagerly awaited debut album The Bones Of What You Believe. Dubbed The Mother We Share, the video sees the electropop outfit unravel their textured soundscape even further while staying true to a delicate storyline.
CHVRCHES have clearly discovered their own musical blueprint and, much like previous tracks, The Mother We Share follows similar rules of an ambient, sparse verse with everything coming together for the big, hook-fest of a chorus. Fans are sure to find the aesthetics of the song just as pleasing with the band taking centre stage for the majority appearing in a mixture of formations.
The band made their way down to Australia for the first time ever this month, stopping by Music Feeds Studio while they were in town. Don’t stress out if you missed them this time round as they confirmed to us while they were here that they’ll be back early 2014 for Laneway Festival.
