City Riots Hit The Road In Support Of Debut Album

Written by Mike Hohnen on September 25, 2012

Hailing from good old Adelaide, South Oz lads City Riots have now finalised the last touches on their debut album as they prepare to gear-up, and bring the record with them on their biggest headlining tour yet.

City Riots are in no rush to fail, choosing to take their time with their first LP Sea of Bright Lights rather than churning out songs to get the thing done. And the results speak for themselves. Fans and industry peeps have been grovelling over the release since the first snippet Wait for You was released back in July. The band then concreted their new-found support by hitting the road for a run of small club shows.

First things first, however, with an album launch to kick off the tour in their hometown at the iconic and pure awesome converted church The Promethean. From there the band will make their way up and down the East Coast, stopping at some of the most loved and intimate live music venues of the regions.

Now with a road-tested live performance, and a bag of new tunage, City Riots are set to be an even more powerful touring face. Check out the dates below.
