CLASSIFIED head to Australia With His Brand New Album ‘Self-Explanatory’

This coming July sees Canadian Hip Hop Heavyweight CLASSIFIED head to Australia for the first time on the back of his brand new album release.

With a career built on the independent circuit, CLASSIFIED has developed into a highly respected MC who is set to bring his unique sounds to Australia supporting the HILLTOP HOODS on their national July tour. The shows promise to bring together the best of local and international Hip Hop artists with special guests CLASSIFIED and BRIGGS joining the national traveling bill.

With his new album “Self-Explanatory” on the shelves this month, this latest record (his 11th), and his first major label release through Sony Records is a testament to his hard working ethos and his uncompromising creativity.

“Self-Explanatory” showcases CLASSIFIED’S diversity with songs covering relationships, hip hop issues (past, present and future), and life itself. While tracks like “Trouble” captures that indie ethos that has defined CLASSIFIED throughout the years, it is the first radio single, aptly titled “Anybody Listening” that is destined to take CLASSIFIED (aka Luke Boyd) to the next level. Described as one of the defining voices in Canadian Hip Hop, CLASSIFIED relates with an honesty that truly connects with people.

Touring internationally with high calibre Hip Hop artists including Royce Da 5’9″, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, The Game, Nelly, and The Wu Tang Clan in 2008, CLASSIFED brings his live show to Australian shores for the first time this coming July.
