Colour Coding Release ‘Yours, Not Mine’ Video

Written by Sarah Bella on September 12, 2013

When Chris Holland and Tim Commanduer combine their musical powers, the result is the magical indie pop of Colour Coding, with the duo crafting not one but two new singles for your perusal, unleashing the double A-side of Yours, Not Mine and Hanging On, as well as the accompanying music video for the former.

The clip sees the pair of Sydneysiders getting moody beside the ocean and wandering some gloomy streets, the perfect companion to the synthy, uplifting Yours, Not Mine. The track is sure to get you having a bit of a dance and maybe even a singalong with its catchy refrain of “Be strange but don’t be a stranger”.

The double A-side is the latest release from Colour Coding, the follow-up to their 2012 EP Proof, which spawned the singles Perfect and Hold Tight and saw the outfit hit the Wanderland Music Festival, sharing the bill with names like Temper Trap, Neon Trees and Nada Surf.
