CONFIRMED: Remainder Of Placebo’s Australian Tour To Go Ahead

ORIGINAL STORY: The remaining dates of Placebo‘s 2017 Australian tour are set to go ahead, after the band cancelled their Perth show due to illness on Monday night.

A representative for tour promoters TEG Live has confirmed to Music Feeds that the band will resume their 20th anniversary Australian tour in Adelaide tonight, with the following shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle and Canberra “proceeding as planned”.

Music Feeds has also been told that Placebo are hoping to reschedule their cancelled Perth show for a new date at the end of their Australian tour.

Placebo and TEG Live are yet to comment on the nature of the illness which caused the group’s frontman, Brian Molko, to be unable to perform in Perth on Monday.
