They’ve impressed us with previous singles, now Sydney indie dance gang Conics have returned to our speakers once more with every intention of blowing our minds. They plan on doing so with their latest single This Moment and the cruisy, summer vibes jam is sure to do just that.
This Moment will be a key feature on the band’s forthcoming debut EP, slated for a June release, and shows a band fast coming into their own when held up to its older brothers and sisters released throughout 2011 and 2012. This Moment is dangerously catchy. Masterfully blended vocal harmonies wrapped up in a wave of synth delights. Somewhere in the world right now it’s a warm summer’s day, and this is the track that should be soundtracking that scenario.
Once they drop the track during their Oxford Art Factory residency in Sydney over three Saturday this May, the band will be gearing up to hit the road for a full run of tour dates through out July and August, so stay tuned for updates.
