Courtney Barnett has announced a 2018 national tour ahead of the release of her new album Tell Me How You Really Feel on 18th May.

The singer-songwriter will perform across Adelaide, Fremantle, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne between August and September, when she’ll also make her Sydney Opera House Concert Hall debut.

To celebrate, Barnett has today released a new song from Tell Me How You Really Feel dubbed ‘City Looks Pretty’, which you can stream below.

“Courtney Barnett’s meteoric ascent and considered evolution are a source of immense joy for everyone who loves their music filled with wild imagination, a bemused sense of humour and sincerity,” says the Sydney Opera House’s Head of Contemporary Music, Ben Marshall.

“We’re honoured to present her Sydney Opera House headline debut, unveiling her new album Tell Me How You Really Feel, so come bask in Courtney Barnett’s understated triumph in all its jangly grunge-pop energy, roots rock and folk glory.”

Courtney Barnett’s upcoming national tour will be supported by East Brunswick All Girls Choir in all cities, excluding Sydney. Details below.
