Courtney Love Plays Dictator In Fall Out Boy’s ‘Rat A Tat’ Video

Fall Out Boy have unveiled the clip for their collaboration with Hole frontwoman Courtney Love, Rat a Tat, as the ninth instalment in their ongoing Young Blood Chronicles music video series, which will see the band release a music video for every track on their latest studio album, Save Rock and Roll.

Courtney Love plays the role of dictator in the stylish clip, supremely ruling over the ultra-violent, music-hating women first seen in the video for My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark. Under Love’s orders, the women go A Clockwork Orange on Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump.

“Courtney has still got it,” Fall Out Boy bass player and songwriter Pete Wentz told Rolling Stone of Ms Love’s performance. “When she walked into the room, she commanded it. Turns out the bullhorn was not necessary.” The clip was shot in Brooklyn by New York-based collective, DONALD/ZAEH.

The band were in Australia back in October for a series of headlining dates. Music Feeds reviewer Jules Innocenzi was at their Melbourne show at Festival Hall, complimenting the band on “an amazingly energetic, creative and fun as all hell set” played to “a mass of adoring fans.”
